A big thank you for all of your support in 2017. It has been a busy year and I wanted to look back at some of the highlights and celebrate some of my successes!
I started the year with my Residency at The National Glass Centre where I created experimental work with glass. The exhibition 'Jewellery: Wearable Glass' is currently touring at Ruthin Craft Centre.
This year also saw me become a trade-freeman member of 'The Worshipful Company of Gold and Silvery Wyre Drawers'. It was a privelige to have been invited to join this traditional London Livery Company which has a history stretching back 700 years.
In September this year I exhibited with The British Pavillion at the Cheongju International Craft Biennale. I was one of three Scottish Artists selected to exhibit work in the 'Form + Motion' Showcase organised by The Crafts Council and The British Council.
I have shown my work up and down the country at exhibitions including Dazzle, IJL, Goldsmiths Fair, Elements and my open studio weekend. It has been a pleasure to connect and meet with you all in person at events and online via social Media. I look forward to staying in touch with you about new things to come in 2018.
Up next in 2018..
First up in 2018 I will be showing my work at Collect 2018 with Craft Scotland. Organised by The Crafts Council, Collect brings together the highest quality works from international Craft Makers, showing at the Saatchi Gallery, London between 22- 25 Feb.
Thank you!
